Fire Awareness & Fire Warden Courses

DO YOU AND YOUR COLLEAGUES KNOW WHAT TO DO IN THE
EVENT OF A FIRE AT WORK?

It is extremely important that all members of staff are aware of the fire safety procedures in their workplace so they know what to do in the event of a fire.  The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, 1974 Health & Safety Act and the Management of Health & Safety regulation require staff to receive appropriate fire training / instruction.

Fire safety training offers guidance on fire prevention, identifying causes of fire, individuals responsibilities (eg Fire Warden Duties), and other very important factors which all contribute to a safe workplace.

The outcome of the Fire Awareness course and Fire Warden course influences the risk of harm from fire and should therefore be regarded as part of the Fire Risk Assessment process.
